Hearing Loops
Until recently, churches, schools, and
businesses have relied on radio frequency (or RF) devices to help
those who are hard of hearing. Unfortunately these options
require the rental and use of beltpack receivers and headphones that
can often deter use.
Metro Sound & Video now offers an
alternative solution. Hearing Loops are
rapidly becoming the preferred option for many organizations due to
their low cost per user and excellent sound quality. The
remarkable feature of Hearing Loops is their ability to
transmit sound directly to users' hearing aids. The
t-switch on most hearing aids allows the user to hear only sound
transmitted by the loop, and eliminates ambient noise from the room
(loudspeakers, echoes, etc.) for ultimate clarity.
